Well I've learned the hard way inactivity can actually make it worse. Like a dumbass I used to do 500 to 1000 push ups 7 days a week with NO rest, goofed my shoulder up, then kept going, thinking "It'll loosen up" or "I'll just re strengthen it". Hurt it enough I gave myself too much time off, now have a bad left shoulder Most of the time. But now I am re strengthening it properly. Could still kick myself for my old way of thinking.
