@_shawn_adams_: Studio NEiDA’s cinema project in Ghana is called The Falcon, a purpose-built cinema and film community space planned for Berekuso, north of Accra. It is designed around four buildings enclosing a courtyard, drawing on Asante architecture, and will use earth materials, palm-leaf thatch, passive ventilation, and other locally sourced materials to suit the climate and context. The project is meant to do more than screen films: it includes two screening rooms, a restaurant, an archive, communal areas, and an outdoor cinema, with a later phase planned to add residence space for filmmakers.
