what i find disturbing is Christians think the male should be the leader of the family unit but by this logic the very first male didn't even listen to God and didn't warn Eve since she wasn't told by God not to eat the fruit. They always blame Eve for the fall

If you read Gilgamesh it makes sense. because it's written over 2000 years before any of the abrahamic religions and it's the same story, but with several gods. mainly anu, Enki, Enlil, and Inanna. with Enlil being the jealous god of the Old testament who flooded us. Inanna crying in upset as we died and Enki saving us on Inannas behalf rather than one bipolar dude.

Let me give you the sauce to shut down all abrahamic religions queen. Read duteronumy 32 8 to 9 the original Dead Sea scrolls version says (El) Elyon separated the nations of humans based on the number of the Bene Elohim aka sons of El and Yahwehs inheritance was Yacov aka Jacob who later became Israel so Yahweh was given the bloodline of Israel and is not the creator but the tribal god of the Israelites and a son of El which would mean he’s a brother of Baal and also it shows that all the other sons of El including Baal got different nations to rule so this shows that Yahweh isn’t the creator but a lesser deity so this dismantles all abrhamic religions plus historically the wife of El is Aserah and when we look at anthropology the early Israelites had her as the wife of Yahweh which shows that at one point worshipped El and later merged Yahweh the bene Elohim with his father El then in the Bible they later demonized Aserah via the Aserah poles being demonic etc ( note in the mesoretic text which is the version the Jewish Pharisee rabbis approved, it says Bene Yisrael instead of Bene Elohim so they changed it from Sons of El because that would proved that there were many gods and Yahweh wasn’t the creator but a Bene Elohim or son of El the cannanite creator god and god of Melchizedek the cannanite king of Salem the cannanite nation so the concept of multiple gods is valid and has been long been accepted in scholarly circles )

My favorite part of Genesis is where there's a morning and an evening for 3 days and then only does god create the sun. the best part of it is hearing the excuses the Christians come up with. Ive heard: "The sun was already there, it was just covered by clouds." and "god is the light of the world, he was orbiting earth for those 3 days" 😂😂the acoustics inside these christian's heads must be amazing.

well if you follow paul wallis who was a former preacher and now i hes something else i forget. i think a researcher, he studied ancient texts and the bible in its original language and broke down how genesis is actually about multiple Gods and not just one or 2 even. he even goes into the linguistics and all that.

Researchers have documented that whatever religion a person is born into is overwhelmingly the one they keep. A child born in Saudi Arabia is Muslim. Born in rural Texas is Christian. Born in India is Hindu. If any one of them had the actual truth that shouldn't be a geographical accident. You believe what you were surrounded with before you could critically think. There are two different creation stories. Adam was not the first man. Adam was the first man to be created in the garden of eden. Even when u try to understand it deeply, it shows it's not the same god from genesis 1

I took a religious studies course in college from an academic standpoint and there are 2 creation stories. Every ancient society had their own creation story and Genesis took 2 similar stories from oral tradition and wrote them down.
