@hollysiegle: I want to clarify something about my GoFundMe because I think some people may misunderstand the purpose behind it. I am not expecting or asking strangers to completely fund my dentures for me. That is not the point of this fundraiser. The reality is that this situation has completely impacted my ability to function normally. Because I’ve been unable to properly eat solid foods for months, my health has declined significantly. I’ve become severely underweight, weak, exhausted, and unable to work while still trying to be present for my children every single day. Right now, so much of the financial responsibility has fallen onto Austin while I’m physically struggling just to get through normal daily life, and that has been incredibly hard on both of us. More than anything, I want to help relieve some of that pressure however I can. This fundraiser is simply meant to help us breathe a little during an overwhelming situation that neither of us expected. Whether it goes toward treatment costs, nutrition, bills, transportation, or helping take some of the weight off Austin’s shoulders while I try to heal, every little bit genuinely helps. Even sharing my story means more than people realize. Support doesn’t always have to be financial. Sometimes being seen, heard, and helped through a hard season means everything.
