They changed ours to hospital week and on nurses day at 8:20 pm they sent out an email that we are a team. so I hope you're ready for the cherry on top now. The unit I work for organized a potluck breakfast for date and night shift combined on nurses Day. The VP and CNO heard about it and showed up for a photo op, they ate all of the bacon and left. didn't contribute, just ate the food we provided for ourselves

I actually really liked the blessing of the hands. The nuns at the hospital came around with a very sweet smelling massage oil and lovely non-denominational prayers. It actually was very sweet and even though I’m not a religious person I was very moved by that.🥰

Mon: donuts,coffee fresh fruit, Tue: food truck Wed: Bbq Thursday: ice cream truck Fri: prize raffles with really good prizes. This is a LTC too. Some nurses still complain

We got a card and a $10 gift card. I got mine yesterday. Oh, and breakfast that no one told us about and was actually for the OTs. They shared with us.
