Ngl I used to ship them before nalu bc of this lil arc ( I still kinda do, and I also love nalu [flushed] ) Also I hate when people be saying Lucy is weak when she obviously isn't, she literally summoned all her spirits! which is something no other celestial wizard was able to do + she has so many other feats! I’m still inclined to believe this was the actual first time she summoned the Celestial Spirit King, she just didn’t know it. Yes, she didn’t say “Open the Gate of the King”, but I think by her using all of her magic to try and open Loki’s gate she inadvertently broke whatever was left of his original key that was still connected to him. And she still had the power to summon the rest of her spirits, 3 or 4 being other Zodiacs btw!
