@theartcoach: Tap the link in my bio to start the drawing drills course. This landscape is built from very simple ideas layered together. Large rolling shapes for the hills. A tall vertical gesture for the cypress tree. Then controlled linework to describe the slope and direction of the land. What makes farmland scenes feel believable is usually the flow of the terrain. The lines should move with the surface, almost like contour lines wrapping around the hills. The cypress tree acts as a strong contrasting shape against all the softer horizontal movement of the landscape, which helps the composition feel balanced and readable from a distance. A lot of landscape drawing comes down to understanding large shape relationships before worrying about texture and detail.
