so my theory is, we discovered something we weren't supposed to and the system killed us resetting our memories bringing us back. when we awake we have zero idea what's going on. the system also tells us that everything on this planet is connected in some way. kinda like pandora in avatar. we also know that cicada landed 26 years ago.

Anita and Sophie want the tree dead. Nahema Mantis and Zip built the bomb and blew up habitat one because they didn’t want to be debt slaves that woke up everyday to no memory of the previous day, working for alterra for eternity. Since they created NOA and there are theories stating he’s creating using Architect technology and picked up the Axum signal and that’s why we are here “Proteus” instead of Zezura in the first place. Hence why there are two black boxes at the start meaning you might have died twice but NoA doesn’t tell you that. He keeps people from being reprinted and also kept Sophie as a ghost in the tadpole pens. On top of that he killed someone for going crazy with Masefield syndrome in the heat biome area. NOA isn’t telling us everything. The Jubilee are a group that believe the tree is helpful. It’s all just politics and self destruction through Masefield syndrome. After Nahema and the other two blew up habitat one Ganzo and his Wife took the survivors to the tadpole pens but were attacked by an extremely large marrowbreach that split everyone up. This is basically all we know so far of the fate of the humans. And then we can see their research through the Axum facility and what they learned and did there. So there was a group that wanted to be debt slaves and complete the mission with NOA. The other group doesn’t trust NOA and want to basically be free to explore the planet and become part of the ecosystem - evolve since they landed on Proteus instead of zezura one of those groups thinks the parameters should be different. The other group doesn’t. Nahema wasn’t crazy nor does she want to kill everyone. Also we know that the events took place approximately 27-40 years ago. From the logs.

possibly woke up, was scared. frantically rushed to run away from the ship. forgot to turn the oxygen portion on. hung and reprinted you after resetting your memory. that’s why noa said “you WILL make it ‘this time’”

My theory is we’re not the first QI and every time we get printed we re discover that NoA is actually more sentient then he lets on so he erases us because why did it take a century to him to print us to figure out what happened to the colonists

My only theory is that we haven’t found any other reprints because they’re not dead, but rather have become one with whatever this large crab creature is. “Alive” under the calcified people-shaped formations we find. Thus not being able to be reprinted. (Just a theory!)
