In the book she is an aunt! I wish they stayed consistent with the book. It’s been so different. And Agnes becomes an aunt in the book also lol she does NOT want to get married

Since she kept repeating the ‘doing gods work’ line I think the aunts might spin it as “oh we decided to delay the punishment so god took matters into his own hands and acted through her” that would line up with aunts having a so called higher calling in the book before they enter training

Aunt Lydia has been way too cryptic with her words. Those people dressed in black that took Becca are either the Aunts themselves or it's May Day. This show has way too many twists and turns and I know it will not let me down

I’m really suprised I haven’t seen one person mention commander Weston is the HEAD of the eyes. So a potential theory could be that to make Agnes/hannah happy or like him more he’ll let her go to get married. I think she’ll get married and then still try to do the poetic book way towards the end of the show.
