i don't think she liked him that much romantically but in the beginning she even tells him "if you like me, now is the time to tell me" because she's already thinking of life changes (quitting their job and focusing on herself) and i think from what little we see of the real nikki she'd PROBABLY be the kind of girl who would have given him ONE CHANCE. it was a "tell me now and maybe we might go on one date and see where it goes" NOT BECAUSE SHE LIKED HIM but because he was (presumably at that point) a good guy who she could see herself going on a date with IF HE HAD THE BALLS TO BE HONEST THAT ONE TIME. | when she's talking about her future he barely cares and is instead upset she's leaving HIM. he's already selfish! he barely knows what she's REALLY like, just the way she outwardly presents herself. and she tried to give him the chance to show her his truth, but he just said nope and then decided to use the wish instead.

Also, the part where he finally talks to real her and the fake one is sleeping and we could kind of see his true colors and body language change and see what he’s really focused on on asking her when he could’ve asked her more important questions, she also said “I’ve never been with you” bc she’s not even in control or has any free will to do so

I don’t think wether she liked him or not should be the focus. Even if she did, the idea that someone you like would take away your autonomy because they lack the confidence to confess their feelings is horrible. People keep saying “but she liked him” as if that somehow makes what he did any less wrong. It doesn’t.
