As someone with migraines that knows about AVM , the water bottle did not cause the rupture! AVM rupture Happens spontaneously, you never know You have it. it is a pre-existing condition.

I have brain aneurysms, my mom had an AVM.. I personally would suspect that the initial head injury had something to do with her AVM rupturing. But thats just my opinion. I hope her family gets some form of justice.

my husband has an AVM and we found it from a CT for something else at 41 so we were able to treat but it's still there. it can go at anytime, it's a ticking time bomb, so unfortunately they can't say one way or another whether the blow caused it or not definitively. I believe the number is 1 in 50 people have one. I'm convinced they don't screen for them because all the $ is to be made in taking care of you AFTER the aneurysm or stroke, not by preventing it. on the contrary, all the money is in treating cancer so they screen for that.
