Mega IPO waves cluster near bull market peaks by definition because that is when private companies can command the best valuations, so the pattern predicts nothing that “bull markets eventually end” doesn’t already tell you. Attributing a COVID era crash to Uber’s IPO is the kind of post hoc reasoning that can make any historical sequence look like a signal.
