@aussiemammoth1: Talk to your Creator. Talk to the One whom your soul will return to. Talk to Allah ﷻ, the Almighty, because there will come a day where nobody will be able to help you except Him. Get up in the middle of the night and pray that Tahajjud prayer. Stand when everybody else is asleep. Raise your hands when the world is quiet. Pour your heart out to the One who already knows your pain, your fears, your struggles, and your secrets. The Tahajjud prayer is powerful. The pious predecessors used to say that Tahajjud is an arrow that does not miss its target. My brothers and sisters, if you want to get somewhere quickly, you don’t travel at peak hour. And if you want to speak to your Lord, speak to Him when everybody else is asleep. Allah ﷻ descends in a manner befitting His Majesty in the last third of the night and says: “Who is calling upon Me so I may answer him? Who is asking of Me so I may give him? Who is seeking My forgiveness so I may forgive him?” — Sahih al-Bukhari & Muslim So call upon the One who can truly help you. The One you will return to. The One who will be with you when you are alone in your grave and everybody else has walked away. Because the world sleeps, but Allah never sleeps.
