Boiled broccoli is amazing, you just can't boil vegetables to mush.

Who’s eating plain vegetables in America? We put a bunch of salt and butter on them. Sometimes, cheese too

I have sensory issues that were severe as a kid the only vegetables I tried were green beans and corn💀 I started eating more veggies in my 20s when I went to Asian restaurants and I found out veggies could be crunchy and seasoned😹🖤 I had no idea

I think there’s also (in US) a bit of misinformation around frozen vegetables. They are just as nutritious and can be seasoned and prepared with lots of flavors & sauces, used in soups & curries etc. I think childhood memories of them being served just plain/bland combined with snobbish hard-to-achieve standards preaching only fresh organic vegetables are healthy has created a lot of ambivalence toward them when frozen can compliment fresh and help achieve daily recommendations.

In my country we stir fry vegetables with oil, onions, tomatoes and sometimes with spices.

Whenever I go to the grocery store the produce is already wilted or rotting. I want fresh healthy veggies buts it’s honestly hard to get ones that are even worth eating. Also they are covered in pesticides

plus whenever I go to the supermarket the only vegetables available I'm either allergic to or they were on ice too long during shipment so by the time they hit the shelf they were half frozen and thawing and breaking down into goop. if I want cabbage I have to go to 3 different supermarkets to find a cabbage that wasn't frozen and thawed during shipment that's just wet schlop.

I usually served two veggies at supper, never hid them. My sons will eat them when present but won’t seek them out. My daughters are like me. Fiends for the veggies. 😂

vegetables are just nasty. like at most I could eat a little lettuce or spinach or some steam broccoli. I've cooked many vegetables before I boiled them, steamed them, baked them, roasted them, grilled them, and even sauteed them. With different combinations of seasonings, herbs, and spices. I've also cooked them with meat and used the juices of meat to add flavor. And yet it's still disgusting. They have to be disguised by other foods like meat or grains or anything that actually tastes good.

Down Memory Lane🔵❤️ A letter from Najjera ✍🏾 Monday, 6th July, 2026 Who remembers Arnold of "Different Strokes"? Gary Coleman aka Arnold (the Short Man is my main focus today) was once the highest-paid child actor for his time on ''Different Strokes.'' He was small in stature, yet so charming that he was perfect for the character of Arnold Jackson on the hit show. His character was an African American orphan adopted by a wealthy benefactor, Phillip Drummond. He became a pop culture icon, with his common line on the show "Watchoo talkin' 'bout. Willis?" becoming a known catchphrase around the world. Coleman passed away on May 28, 2010, at the age of 42 after suffering from an intracranial haemorrhage. His death came after a fall in his own home, and after struggling with his health. This Sitcom was showing on Uganda Television (UTV) every Saturday and was sponsored by General Parts Uganda limited owned by City tycoon Hajji Haruna Semakula in the 1990s. It was a must-watch program though the English accent was sometimes too hard to comprehend. At the time, Uganda had only one TV station UTV that started its transmission programs at 6:00pm and closed at the stroke of mid-night 12:00am with a national anthem. In the photo are actors Gary Coleman (Much hair) and Todd Bridges ('big brother'), Kimberly Drummond who played as Dana Plato and their 'father' Phillip Drummond on the set of their show 'Different Strokes' circa 1980 in Los Angeles, California. #jaqs_chronicles 🔵❤️ #viral #fyp #fyppppppppppp #Love
