It’s kind of the difference between a big budget movie and a crude animation like South Park. The blockbuster makes you feel like you’re in the unreal but real world- someplace you haven’t been, but could go to. While South Park strips away any visual attachment to something being real-life or even believable and makes us feel things instead. At least, that’s how my 85% blind self thinks of it.

I get this moment of “that’s so cool” when I finish a knitting project bc it feels the same way when comparing it to the ball of yarn it started as! So I’m definitely gonna take the mindset the next time I go to a museum

before getting into the content of the video i just need to give abstract artists their flowers. when i was in college, the few times i had to make abstract pieces were the HARDEST by far. the ability to create an absence of a concept is a skill that is so rare & hard to develop!!!
