I will tell you that I stopped going to church because I couldn't afford to give. I noticed there were people watching to see who gave each week and if you didn't they would talk about you. So to solve it I stopped going to church and read the word of the Lord at home.

I understand what you are talking about and as a preacher I say that church should be helping her especially when they know the situation! no matter what the church is supposed to take care of the widows and the ones in need!

your mom is Tithing to the church but you need to let her know she can pay Tithes through helping a neighbor or a person in need even if it has to be giving someone food..it doesn't have to be money God still see what she is doing especially giving from the Heart. He will still Bless her. 🙏🙏

I have spent much of my live giving to others. Especially money I knew I would never get back. I believe giving is not just giving to the Church. I bless others and feel blessed myself that I can do so. God still providesfor me, even though I don't give to the Church regularly.
