@4drmoz: This is the first time I’ve seen this phenomenon look exactly like this I genuinely doubted myself and thought I was seeing things for sure Skin cancers can and will happily grow right out of adjacent normal spots - when two spots collide we call this unsurprisingly a “collision lesions” Well this cheeky old basal cell cancer was growing right out of this cherry angiomas base! Now to be clear I don’t want you rushing in to your doctor to show them the hundreds of cherry angiomas you have on you and say some bloke on the internet showed you a video! I want you to pay attention to these things: 🍒changing spots should be looked at 🍒 they should be looked at with a dermatoscope 🍒 the person holding the dermatoscope should have some training in using one Keep those eyes peeled for change I absolutely have not saved this blokes life by picking his skin cancers - I’ve probably saved him a much bigger hole in his skin a few years down the road once the cancer became more obvious!
