I’m on it because a medication I would die without makes me gain weight like crazy.

You really don't know enough about how these medications work. I have been using Mounjaro for 9 months. I eat the exact same and train 5 times a week heavy lifting just like before. I have had no change in appetite and no calorie reduction but now my body just works and I am down 70 pounds of fat. I have had dexa scans along the way.

back in 2010 I lost over 12 stone naturally (diet and gym) going from 22 stone to 10 stone over 2 years, stayed around the same (except in 2020 i went back up to 11.10 then 2022 back down to 10.10) until this year when I went on a 12 week recomp (currently 9.6 high muscle mass healthy body fat (hello lil abbs) )and my loose skin is so much more noticable now then it was at 10 stone (im also nearly 40 so soft skin has started). my point is I think what some people need to remember is once skin is stretched beyond capacity it will never shrink back no matter if you loose it slow or loose it fast. glp and not eating will cause fast weight loss and bye bye muscles which will make you look slightly worse but ive also seen glp users who ate great and exercised through out also look like "melted candle" unfortunately its the skin and you cant stop that happening if its broken like mine

I luckily ate well, very high protein, started running, stretching and even built muscle with wegovy. 26kg down, muscle tone retained, no loose skin (I still have an apron belly, but that’s genetic and nothing wegovy could fix ahah. Only further reducing overall body fat, resistance training and probably years!)

Disappointing another PT voicing opinion without doing more research. Try be someone with endometriosis, pcos, insulin resistance, chronic inflammation, chronic fatigue and perimenopause.. in calorie deficit, high protein, weight train and still can’t lose only put on. No matter how much Discipline someone has it & the work they put in it doesn’t always work. Seeing these kind of videos is very disheartening
