Listen I’m all about understanding this and I do to a point. If they suspect my son has appendicitis it shouldn’t take 6 hours for an ultra sound and 4 hours to even get seen to get him pain meds. I understand how busy they are. I really do. But at some point the lesser condition patients still need care.

Waited for hours to be seen with an artery dissection because vitals were fine 😁 I became popular very fast after the CT scan 😂

No I had to wait for 4 hours and I was anoxic so that’s definitely not true in overcrowded mismanaged hospitals

I was 32 weeks pregnant and having back contractions and instead of taking me up to L&D they let me sit in the ER waiting room for 6 HOURS I left after that wait cause I would rather have my preterm baby at home then sit in the ER any longer

Nah. I had to wait 8 hours with ovarian torsion in a hospital across the country all alone. Morphine didn’t even touch the pain.

People don’t understand that there’s a nurses and doctor shortage. People can’t afford medical or nursing school. If they had more health professionals and better funded hospitals. Wait time would be drastically different.

I was in the Er several years ago, I was a skip the line issue. I now have a lot more patience when I have to wait!

I unfortunately always have to go in for a migraine. Though this last time I was in pain and crying for over an hour because I could put no pressure on my leg. But I am ALWAYS so grateful when I know I don’t need to be looked at right away and that I can wait. It does suck because that means someone is really going through it. And it breaks my heart.
