What if it's not so much the "if he leaves" and it's the "he showed up consistently in the way I want and then it shifted?" How do you find balance in maintaining showing up the way I do with warmth and kindness but not showing up the same for someone not doing the same for me? Pulling back my energy a bit to pour it into myself and observe without being cold? This is where I struggle. I feel so disrespected by the shift that I spiral from a place of not knowing how to move. I'd rather just communicate I notice a shift, allow him the opportunity to clarify but most people I've spoken with have said that's not appropriate for 2 months in dating. Even though that's how I work. I'm very forward.
