I actually discovered that if the ticket home is close in price you can fly home from a different airport as well. Look up your companies policy. I love extending work trips to get a personal vacation at the end.

This! I try to tell my coworkers that travel to do this but they’re all so scared. And check your travel intranet, there are lots of perks and discounts that can be used for personal travel as well.
