As another trans person I feel like being trans alone IS dysphoria?? Dysphoria isn’t always “god I hate myself” it can simply be “this body/gender isn’t right”. That’s also dysphoria and it’s perfectly valid

I didn’t know I was trans for the LONGEST TIME! I always labeled it as genderfluid but growing up and experimenting I have realized I have always been happier in a “feminine” profile, or I feel better when viewed as feminine. For the longest time I felt a mix of “stop calling me feminine” and “I wanna be more feminine” and I think it was a good mix of growing up being forced into the “YOU HAVE TO BE MACULINE” profiling so when I was referred to in a feminine way it was off to me bc that wasn’t what I was use to, but it also always brought me this comfort. Now that I know what I am when I am referred to as feminine I feel way more confident in myself and happy. Even tho I do still get those moments where it feels off to me and weird that I’m being referred to in a feminine way I still feel so happy when I am.

Also trans people won’t necessarily have dysphoria forever but will be trans forever. I So by that logic, if you transition to alleviate dysphoria and it goes away, then you aren’t trans because no more dysphoria

Gender dysphoria is a diagnosis and i believe you do need to experience to a certain level to be transsexual. Gender euphoria isnt enough to classify as a transsexual.

I don’t have dysphoria, instead I have Euphoria in replacement of that. So like I don’t feel technically bad about being a girl but I feel wonderful being a boy. I’m so glad someone talks abt this 🥹🥹 because dude the amount of times I’ve been scared of trans meds is CRAZY
