I'm a psychologist and a big part of my job is providing diagnoses. I've had a lot of discussions with colleagues about my issues with the system, specifically that we're pathologizing people's natural responses to a completely broken system. Yes, some mental health conditions are genetic, hormone related, neurological, etc., but so many people are struggling (myself included) because the systems we live in cause incredible harm. Idk the solution, but just know you're not alone.

Quit my high level corporate job in 2023 with no back up plan. Filed bankruptcy after having a 2am “epiphany”. Got a fully remote job making half the pay and bought a horse. Home, barn, rinse and repeat. At home 80% of my life. No desire to engage. Touch grass as much as I can to stay sane.
