@savehorsessanctuary: Emergency right now. We just got the call. A horse is down on the street. Laid out like he’s dead, but he’s still breathing. No idea how long he’s been there. No idea what caused it - colic, injury, exhaustion, we won’t know until we get eyes on him. But every minute he’s lying on that road, the risk goes up. If he can’t get up, if a car comes, if his body shuts down, we lose him. The problem: he’s far. Too far to walk. And we have no fuel for the truck and trailer right now. We’re not asking for help lightly. This is the kind of call that keeps people awake at night. If we can get fuel in the tank in the next 30-60 minutes, we can be on the road. If we can’t, he stays there alone. He’s alive right now. That’s all we know. Alive, down, and waiting. If you can help with fuel money, with a donation for emergency transport, or if you’re close to that area and have a way to get to him first - please say something. Even $5 covers fuel to get us a few miles closer. I’ll update the second we have movement. If we get there and he’s gone, you’ll know. If we get there and he’s still fighting, we’ll fight with him.
