@vitasidorkina: Viral rice paper croissants 🥐 Trying this healthier version of an almond croissant and giving my honest rating at the end 👀 Original recipe by: @itsmarianova Ingredients: For the croissants: • 6 rice paper sheets • 2 eggs • Splash of maple syrup • 1 tbsp coconut oil • Flaked almonds for topping For the filling: • 1 egg • 2 tbsp coconut sugar • 1 tbsp almond, cashew or peanut butter • 1/2 cup almond flour • Vanilla extract
Directions: 1. Mix all filling ingredients together, set aside 2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, maple syrup, and coconut oil 3. Dip the rice paper sheet into the egg mixture 4. Place the coated rice paper on a flat surface, add some filling in the center, then fold into a square 5. Top with flaked almonds 6. Air fry at 180°C for about 8–9 mins, until golden & crispy 7.
