I am not a fan of Pablo Escobar, when I visited this city, I was with my girlfriend. i am not involved in the activities that a lot of tourists are. however, the approach that is being taken It doesn't seem like the right approach. is it gonna become illegal to even mention his name during tour in communa 13.. don't get me wrong. It's a nice city, but has it relief become too big to fail? maybe, perhaps just like the internet built with sex and freedom, becomes transparent and restricted. anyhow watching the drama unfold. chismoso

I think we Americans in particular have a difficult time understanding… how not all cultures romanticize seedy or terrible characters like we do or have. For instance, the Oklahoma Sooners. ‘Sooners’ were thieves who literally stole land, even killed people! Yet now we have sports teams with this name. The American mindset values more…change, being daring, an entrepreneurial spirit where over time we forgive sins if something was gained. All so long ago, none of us were even living. Another example is Billy the Kid! Really? Colombians have a completely different rapport to such stories, plus it is fresher in their country. They are still living the repercussions of some very selfish and evil people. I support them!
