As someone who js went through a breakup and we said this. We broke up because we needed to heal ourselves. The relationship was taking up energy and draining us, instead of helping us grow. Maybe it could’ve been fixed while staying together, but for us we decided we would break up. You don’t always have to fight for it, sometimes letting go is healthier. The love was genuine, and still definitely there. If God intended this for us, it’ll work out in a future, but right now it’s a break up. Sometimes you fall inlove so deeply, you become blind to the fact that there might be someone better.
