Aren’t you not supposed to caulk the bottom of baseboards? The movement of the two plains surfaces will make it crack pretty quickly.

the caulk on the bottom makes it look like you've just got paint the floor though. looks messy.

And if you have wallpaper, USE THE RIGHT MASKING TAPE, or it can take the wallpaper with it!!!
