Be your authentic self. This will be greatly appreciated. Listen to and actually answer the questions. Speak clearly and at a moderate pace so they can gain an understanding of the point you are trying to convey. Nerves are expected so will not go against you once you apply a strategy to compose yourself. When asked about your weakness do not say that you are a perfectionist anymore because it is cliche and everyone says the same thing.

My honest weakness is that I sometimes take learning opportunities away from others so when I have gone for jobs in the past I always say “My weakness has always been that I sometimes take learning opportunities away from others. For example, if someone is struggling with a task, my instinct is to just do it myself rather than show them how to do it for next time. It can be both a strength and a weakness because I’m good at taking initiative and getting things done however, at the same time I recognise that I’m not always giving others the chance to learn and develop those skills for themselves”. And this has never failed me I now work in my dream career and have done for the past 6 years.

No3 definitely shouldn’t be used for any role higher than a grad scheme - even grad schemes, at the very top firms saying ‘perfectionist’ is a red flag. It’s better to give a genuine weakness but speak on how you have overcome it

Not all roles are built the same ma’am, you can kill the interview for some roles and feel like you did everything right and still not get the role. More technical fields have more variances.
