the silly thing... those kplc token meters... needed power to operate!!! so if your token ran out you had to stop by a neighbour to plug it in to re-charge your power!

The old token machines were the best. I wonder why KPLC don’t supply those instead of these rechargeable. We have the old one and it’s always on the wall. It beeps before the tokens are off, and if it does, it doesn’t go off
