I work in foodservice for a school district, this hits home. I look at all these littles and then blink and they are moving on to the next school level. I am in a position that I can literally watch them grow all through graduation.

Even when they leave they will find a way to give you more! I have a high school teacher that everyone in my family loved we graduated and we were like how are we going to keep getting him his chocolate… well I (the youngest) works with my old teachers son now, he has gotten chocolate every year at Christmas

this is my first year in elementary. I've been in the highschool for the last 7 school years. my district is consolidating schools and my sped class is moving to a different school next year. (the school i was at as a kid) we have 5 days left and I can not stop crying. this year has been better than I ever could have imagined. I have been crying all week knowing im not going to see them next year but also excited to start a new chapter. you were a HUGE reason for my confidence in moving to my son's school. thank you for sharing your life, it has definitely changed mine for the better!

isn't it crazy how much these tiny little humans give back? they will remember your love and support when they graduate HS and beyond. I still talk to my favorite middle school/high school teacher. you make a life long impact on them all 💙 plus, your happy sadness is valid!
