But what about covering the cost of a holiday when a family with 2 young kids arrives at an Airbnb they’ve booked to find it double booked? The host goes silent, Airbnb support goes silent and it takes phone calls every half an hour (in which I am fobbed off an hung up on) and escalation to have even a hope of having things sorted to then be told that you will only either cover the cost of a hotel for one night or pay the difference for 4 nights (starting 2 days later)despite the fact it was a 6 night trip? Not to mention a message at 1:52am to say the case will be considered resolved if we don’t respond within an hour…?
