@makyla.wendroth: I never realized how much I was trying to control aspects of my life instead of going with what felt the most natural, aligned, and right in the moment. There’s always choices to make. One of my most visceral choices I remember making was whether or not to do yoga teacher training. Not really a big deal, but for some reason, the choice had me wrecked for days! 😅 I remember making the choice not to do it— and then I started having heart palpitations, and my chest got tight, and I wanted to cry— Which logically makes no sense. Looking back now, I know I was trying to logically figure out whether to sign up. You know “logically”— money, time, am I going to make my money back— but none of that actually mattered because the idea to even take the training crossed my path for a reason. (I did end up signing up btw) You are more energy than you are physical matter and your body is an energy, sensing MACHINE… but your mind is analytical. The mind wants to process everything and work through things logically. But everything in your life is factually energy— the job, move, career, business, friendship… there’s an energy associated with it. We have been so disconnected from our inner wisdom and guidance that we think everything should logically make sense. Your inner knowing and logic are two completely different things. Your soul made a plan before it came here… things to learn, people to meet, things to do, places to go— and your soul guidance speaks through your heart— and there is no logic with that. Next time you’re facing a decision instead of trying to figure out all of the logistics, quiet your mind and go inward. Your heart already knows the answer— and soul speaks as excitement.
