YUP! A few years ago we had a sudden post-pandemic food shortage here in Canada. I got the psychic heads up and told my bestie we had to go do a grocery stock up ASAP. She told her husband and he was like, “WTF?” She told him to just trust me and we went shopping. 2 days later all the grocery store shelves were BARE and everyone was freaking out for a full week (or 2?) while both of our households were sitting pretty and we just rode it out. I decided to be magnanimous in my refraining from saying “I told you so” because he quickly admitted to my saving their butts, lol.
