I spent 2025 trying to get back to myself, to the me before his addiction… it lead to even more accusations of me cheating, more resentment from him, and me being told I wasn’t showing up for him, all because I took time for me and went to my recovery meetings as a spouse of an addict. Those weekly meetings saved me. And he resented me having those connections.
