@christushealth: Queen Asia, a CNA at CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Health System, came to San Antonio looking for a fresh start. Determined to rebuild her life, she reached out to hospitals across the city before finding her calling caring for moms and newborns at Westover Hills in the Mother Baby Unit. It is evident that her work brings her joy and purpose every day. Despite transportation challenges, Queen never let it impact the compassionate care she provides to patients and families. When her coworkers learned about her situation, they came together to surprise her with a car — a moment that left Queen overwhelmed with gratitude. Stories like Queen’s remind us that caring is at the heart of everything we do, not only for our patients, but for one another. During Healthcare Week, we celebrate these incredible people who make compassionate care possible every day across our facilities.
