as one that’s lived with fleas I hate people saying “it’s flea season“ because they get worse in the winter and they get worse in the summer. It’s always flee season every four months when they give birth it’s season.. “it’s flea season “. It’s always flea season always when fleas are around.

Oof, dealt with it last year and it’s genuinely one of the worst things ever. You have to deep clean everyday for like a month to get rid of them. That came from just letting my cat sit on my balcony with me. Haven’t let her out since

I work in the vet med industry. Please keep your pets on prevention year round. If you choose not to do that at least start using preventatives in February thru at least November. That’s not ideal, you can still get fleas. Even indoor cats. It’s cheaper to keep them on prevention year round then to battle a flea infestation.

Literally what I’m dealing with rn. I live in a wooded area. My cat got them and it’s been so hard. Given multiple baths, given the topical treatments, the flea collars, even the oral medication. I’ve sprayed my house and washed every single piece of linen and still I cannot get rid of them. I’ve never had this issue. 😭

Glad I live in an apartment, bleach my window seals, have a window guard, keep my pets indoors, deep clean my bedroom weekly and uh. Hardly even go out. I left my home less than 10 times this summer… ✌️.. it’s possible to still get them but I’m limiting that possibility by lots. Goodluck to yall.
