@craighillco: No matter how much testing we do in studio, there will always be surprises when we release a design and begin to use it in our lives. It's been over half a year since we shipped V3 of the Summit Card Case and here are three things we've noticed through daily use: 1) The slip joint closure is more than we expected. Not only does it keep the case securely closed, but it is so satisfying to use that we often find ourselves meditatively playing with it during our commutes and at our desks. 2) The smooth and rounded metal form makes the case way easier to slide in and out of our pocket (compared to your traditional leather card wallet). If we're rushing to catch a subway, the Summit comes out easily without dragging anything with it or catching on our pants. We went with rounded corners primarily because it looked nice - the functional benefit has been a pleasant surprise. 3) For better or worse, now we get asked about our wallet all the time. Some people think it's an old iPod, others think it's a lighter. The best moment is handing it to the inquisitive cashier or bartender and watching them interact with the object for the first time. There are no negatives yet (which is rarely the case), but that's what happens when you iterate 3 times on a product over 5 years. If you have feedback from your use of the Summit, drop it below.
