@daniellenicole1994: May is the month we found out that the cancer didn’t go away even after surgery. That it grew. That it continued to grow and progress. That i had to sit in the room with his doctor and see the scans and how much growth there was. Then go home and watch him play, smile, laugh, all while being in pain. To then watch him decline as the days and weeks went on. Until he passed away 2 months later. I hope this video gets onto the for you page. If it does, i want you to hope and pray for childhood cancer, for these warriors, for how much they go through all while trying to smile. My heart hurts. During this conversation with the doctor, he was in the other room playing with the nurse. During the conversation with the doctor about the chest scan, he was sleeping in the next room. Then, i had to leave, wiping tears from my face, and act like nothing happened so Elijah didn’t get scared. These next 2 months will be really hard.
