Lost me at 2 but from ur pov I can see why but yea lost me. At least you didn’t try to deny the priest since Christ himself established the priest in the book of John. And we have historical evidence of the apostles literally just being priests and bishops, so we can at least acknowledge that.

why does no one realize there’s a difference between worshipping someone and asking someone to pray for you? Catholics don’t believe the saints or Mother Mary replace God. We believe Jesus is the only mediator who reconciles us to the Father. When we ask Mary or the saints to pray for us, it’s like asking a family member, friend, or pastor to pray for us. If asking someone on earth to pray for you isn’t wrong because you can “go directly to God,” then asking those in heaven to pray for you follows the same principle in Catholic belief. look you’re free to disagree with Catholic teaching, but please don’t misrepresent what Catholics actually believe. Disagree with our beliefs if you want—but disagree with what we truly teach, not with a misconception. Mutual respect among Christians is still a thing. 😭 Catholics do pray to saints in the older sense of the word “pray” (to ask), but they do not worship them. Hope this helps
