doesn't even make sense. If he had seen what the attack titan's wielder was going to do (when touching a royal), then he knew that he would do the rumbling. Furthermore, his statement of "cause I wanted to" does not align with his "I was a slave to freedom", cause the second statement implies that he could not change what he would do, because of his obligation of reaching freedom (this is also backed up by his line "I still wasn't able to change anything" or something similar). His line of "cause I wanted to" implies a choice, or ergo freedom, but how can that be if he is a slave to it, meaning he would do whatever it took to reach freedom?
