My Grandmom was divorced twice and married three times. By the time she met her third and current husband (who I’ve grown up with as a grandfather), she had already built up a successful and thriving business and wasn’t looking for anything other than someone to love her and for her to love back. Why is it a problem for the government? Single tax filers pay more to the treasury than married couples do. A truly fiscally focused federal government would be anti marriage for this reason alone.
