Many police will not get involved and find excuses not to act on complaints and get arrogant to the victim complaining to neutralize complaint. They HATE going to court as much as they HATE paperwork. Some inaction is also cos it's unprovable and won't go anywhere in court. Another reason is stepping in on matters that you can get a lawyer for which appears to be trade bounds. Had big trouble with corrupt prosecutors and magistrates my area.

Most police unfortunately now are not investigating crimes correctly so unfortunately most cases are dropped because the quality of police officers has dropped to a all time low
