That lady has sensible shoes, a long dress and a cross body purse. She's practical, sensible and prepared. And by the way she's holding your daughter's hand, it's obvious she's kind and caring. Also a lot of these people saying “thank god for the foster care system” really shows that you have no idea what it’s like to be in it yourself. I was in foster care myself when I was a child, and a lot of the foster people we were bounced back and forth with aren’t always good people, don’t get me wrong there are good people. But one woman in particular when I was a child slapped my sister for telling our mom the stuff she was doing to us. She would lock the fridge and all the food up, when we got back from school we ate one noodle that was it, all night. She would play mental games with us, and tell us we’re going home and we would get excited pack our stuff just for her to drive us up to a store and tell us, she was just “joking”…. & at 5 every night she would make us go in our rooms and she would pad lock the door from the outside until it was time to get up for school, we were not allowed to talk to each other or she would come in with a belt. We had to lay in the dark at 5 with our eyes closed not speaking. DO NOT SPEAK ON SOMETHING YOU KNOW NOTHING ABOUT. I’ve had my kid taken and been taken myself as a child, and both are scary. So please unless you been in the situation, respectfully shut tf up.

Social worker here,former CPS supervisor, work your case plan, show up for your baby which it looks like you’re doing by being present at the doctor appointment. Reunification is the goal. Cheering for your family’s healing!
