Brown Butter Nutella Cookies I hope your keeping up 😅 Ingredients: * ½ cup (113g) browned butter (start with about 140g unsalted butter) * ⅓ cup (67g) granulated sugar * ½ cup (150g) packed brown sugar * 1 large egg (50g) * 1 tsp vanilla bean paste (or vanilla extract) * ½ tsp baking soda * ¼ tsp salt * 1½ cups (186g) all-purpose flour * 1½ cups (255g) chocolate chips * 6 frozen scoops of Nutella (about 1 tbsp each) * Extra chocolate chunks for topping 🍫 Instructions: Brown the butter over medium heat until golden brown with a nutty aroma, then let it cool until just warm. Scoop 6 tablespoons of Nutella onto a parchment-lined plate and freeze for at least 30 minutes. In a large bowl, whisk together the browned butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth, then mix in the egg and vanilla. Add the flour, baking soda, and salt, mixing just until combined before folding in the chocolate chips. Chill the dough for 30 minutes, then divide it into 6 equal portions. Flatten each piece of dough, place a frozen Nutella scoop in the center, wrap the dough completely around it, and seal the edges. Place the cookies on a parchment-lined baking sheet, top with extra chocolate chunks, and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 12–15 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden and the centers are still soft.
