@middleeasteye: A video shared by the Israel Genocide Tracker shows an internal ceremony for an Israeli unit, where soldiers and their families applaud the demolition of villages in southern Lebanon. In the video, a large screen is seen broadcasting a series of controlled detonations and air strikes. Middle East Eye couldn’t independently verify the precise location or time of the video. Since 2 March, Israeli attacks on Lebanon have killed more than 3,000 people and wounded 9,301 more. At least 1.6 million people have been displaced by the conflict - around a fifth of Lebanon’s population. Despite a ceasefire having been announced on 16 April, Israeli forces have continued to carry out near-daily strikes on Lebanon.
