I’m going through this right now, I love certain elements of Aus but after spending 2024 here and first half of 2026 I’m starting to realise that I had to come to Aus to love and appreciate my hometown in the UK and family and friends. Which is OK to admit!! ♥️

Im so torn. Ive been here nearly 3 years and have a long term aussie fella. we have a house, a friend group, decent jobs. Im still empty inside and I know its for what I left behind. But I couldnt bear to leave what I have here. So now im just doing life ok and love what I have but also deeply sad that and longing to go home. 😔

Moved there in 2014. Came back 4 years later. For me UK is far better. No hate to Aus tho

I did this! after 2 years in Sydney, everything was just IG hype and repetitive. don’t regret my time in Aus but I’d never go back cos it made me fall in love with UK (specifically london) soooo much more 🥰❤️
