Then He asks a question directed at the one who thinks deeply: is that not enough of an oath for a person of reason? The rest of the surah answers what that oath is pointing toward. Three nations, Ad,Thamud and pharaoh, are mentioned one after the other. All three were powerful. All three were given time. All three transgressed and all three were destroyed. Then the surah turns to the human being right now and exposes a specific disease: When Allah gives you wealth, you say He has honored you. When He withholds, you say He has humiliated you. Both are wrong. Neither your wealth nor your poverty tells you where you stand with Allah. What tells you where you stand is what you do with what you have. The surah ends with the most beautiful words in all of Juzz Amma . Ya ayyatuha an nafs al mutmainnah. O tranquil soul. Come back to Your Lord. #Al fajr # tafsir #fyp # Islam 🤍
