@urbanexposed1: Part 2.. The Apollo Inn in Barlborough operated for decades as a prominent roadside village pub before its permanent closure. For a long period, it served as a bustling community hub. It evolved to capture multiple revenue streams, offering a 6-room bed and breakfast alongside an on-site barber and beauty bar to draw in additional local trade. In 2017 the pub shut but was taken over refurbished and ran for a short period until forced to closed during COVID. Since 2021 the site has vacant and suffered from squatter which required a court bailiffs to remove them. A planning application has been placed to turn this into mixed-use development featuring commercial units, flats, cottages, and bungalows. #abandoned #urbanexploration #urban
