@samisavor1: Cream rolls are one of my favourite sweet treats. 😍 They’re incredibly quick to prepare and make a beautiful dessert to serve when guests come over.✨ 📖 Ingredients: * 300ml double cream * 1 puff pastry * 1 tbsp vanilla extract * 1/2 cup icing sugar (adjust to taste) * 1 tsp oil (for greasing the cones) * Pistachios (crushed) 👩🏻🍳 Instructions: 1. Preheat the oven. Prepare the cream: Add the double cream, vanilla extract, and icing sugar to a mixing bowl. Whisk until stiff peaks form, as shown in the video. Taste and add more icing sugar if you prefer it sweeter. Set aside in the fridge. 2. Prepare the pastry cones: Lightly grease the pastry cones with oil to prevent sticking. Cut the puff pastry into long strips and wrap each strip around a cone, slightly overlapping as you go. Place the cones on a baking tray with the pastry ends facing down so they hold their shape during baking. 3. Bake: Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (180°C fan) for 15–20 minutes, or until the pastry is puffed and lightly golden brown. Remove from the oven and allow to cool completely before removing the cones. 4. Fill the cones: Transfer the whipped cream to a piping bag. Once the pastry cones are fully cooled, carefully pipe the cream into the centre of each cone. 5. Garnish and serve: Finish by sprinkling with chopped pistachios and dried rose petals as well as icing sugar on top.
